Epic Caribbean Vacation of Awesomeness, Part 5

The day after our adventures in St. Thomas, we had another day on the ship.  As a family, we went to a murder mystery lunch that sounded like fun, but was mediocre at best.  It was put on by the comedy group and I think we all agreed that it was kind of a waste.  We spent the rest of the day lounging, playing cards, and various other activities. 

We watched some of this fruit carving demonstration which was followed by a towel folding demonstration.  Don't ask me if I could reproduce any of it because I'm just not that talented!

That night, we went to Legends in Concert.  It's probably the only place in the world you can see Lady Gaga, Steven Tyler, and Elvis on the same stage and get photos with them afterward.  It was a fun show! Jessie declined a picture with Lady Gaga.  Perhaps it was the claw?

If you know me at all, you will know that I am an Elvis fan.  This is young, hot Elvis and is my boyfriend from this vacation.  Eat your heart out ladies!

After Legends, we stayed for another show.  It was a comedy/magic show by David Williamson.  His show was definitely one of the highlights of the cruise.  He was hilarious.  I found a Youtube video of him doing some of his magic.  This is a trick he did during his show on the ship and it was so funny.  Definitely worth a few minutes of time to watch!

 

Earlier that day, we talked with Manuel, our steward when we were going back and forth to our rooms.  We told him how much we had been enjoying our towel animals and that we had watched part of the presentation on how to make them.  He asked us what animal we wanted and we said that the turtle was awesome.  He got this scared look on his face and said that the turtle was really hard to make so he asked us if we had a second choice and we said we loved the Penguin.  He said that he'd make us a penguin.  When we got back to the room that night, Manuel had given us the turtle and mom and dad got the penguin.  It was definitely a fun surprise.
