I found the most charming and endearing thing online today. There's a 9-year-old boy who has written a book (last year when he was 8!) for guys called How to Talk to Girls. His name is Alec Greven and this kid is a crackup. One of the funniest things he said on the Today Show today was his response to the question about the biggest mistake guys make. He said, "Probably they can't get over it. Life is hard. Move on. You have to get over it. Otherwise, everything just crashes down. They're all depressed and they don't play. They spend their time locked up in their room." A good nugget of wisdom from such a young one! It's important to move on and not lock yourself up in your room and not play with your friends.
The only thing that disturbs me is what an 8-year-old is doing thinking about how to get girls to like him. Boys had cooties when I was 8! They still do sometimes have cooties, but that's another post for another time. Here's the clip of him on the Today Show.
