Random Acts of Vandalism

This random act of vandalism doubles as a random act of kindness! One of my good friends was out of town and recently had a major accomplishment. We took the opportunity to celebrate her accomplishment by vandalizing the sidewalk in front of her condo with a little sidewalk chalk. I hope her neighbors who are trying to sell their condo weren't upset. We included several jokes (mostly Juanito Bandito references!) that she would get and know it was us. We laughed so hard while we were doing it because the stuff we were writing and drawing was funny and we were feeling pretty sneaky. Our glorious efforts were partially destroyed by the sprinklers later that night before she actually saw it in its full glory. She saw enough to know that it was meant for her, who did it, and that it wasn't a mean thing. Thank heavens for camera phones so that our artwork could be immortalized and we could show her the entire thing. Who knew that a $1 tub of sidewalk chalk from Walmart could entertain grown women so well?
