I have a love/hate relationship with my cell phone, but when it comes right down to it, I'm grateful for it. I'm grateful for the ability to communicate easily from wherever I might be. I have had to use my phone in emergency situations and have definitely been grateful for it at those times. I also like the fact that I can turn it off or leave it in my car or at home. I like being reachable on my own terms. I like being able to communicate a brief message through a text message to let someone know I'm thinking about them or see how they're doing. Technology is a beautiful thing, ain't it? (When it works, that is!)
